Split two video segments from the timeline and edit them without affecting the entire segment.

I would like to edit two different segments of the video timeline, for example, in one segment, set the webcam view, and in the second, use the fullscreen option. This is currently impossible because if I use this option, it affects the entire video and the entire timeline.
